Savings and Investments
The Savings and Investments suite of API’s provide functionality for clients to see current prevailing interest rates for investment products. Clients can invest funds with Standard Bank (& Stanbic) in an automated fashion using these APIs. Clients can transact on various investment products including overnight deposits, fixed deposits, Notice Deposits, Treasury Bills and Bonds. Shariah compliant cash deposits are also tradeable via these APIs. The APIs are available across a broad range of countries across the African continent.

Provides services related to executing and querying Transactions. Transactions are the execution of instructions that result in funds moving into or out of supported transactable products and/or trades. This includes both deposits and withdrawals on products such as Call Accounts and Call Notice Trades. The API supports submitting new transactions for execution, as well as querying the status of previously executed transactions.

Provides services related to Executing and Querying Trades. Trades are executed on various Money Market and Fixed Income products including Call Notices, Notice Deposits, Term Deposits, Shariah Term Deposits, Bonds and TBills. The API also provides querying capabilities to find executed trades based on various criteria and to retrieve details of a specific trade given a trade reference.
